SQL Saturday 687 Slovenia – Here I go!

Hi everyone!

The very last SQL Saturday in Europe of this year is taking place in Ljubljana – Slovenia and I can glady say that I will be there, and even better, I am going to be a speaker.

I would say that most of my readers already know what is SQL Saturday, but if you don’t, just go directly to SQL Saturday Home Page, where you can find a very easy explanation to it.

Personaly, I think that SQL Saturday’s are a great opportunity to learn something new in your carrer. For example. nowadays the majority of the sessions that I go are about Database Lifecycle management. However, SQL Saturday’s are also good to meet new people, hear from the experts, etc.. So please, go to the event page and register it, as there will be plenty of great sessions!

To be there as an attendee it will be good, but to have the opportunity to speak in such an event with lots of high skilled speakers will be even better. I cannot say how happy I am to be selected as one of the speakers! So, what am I going to talk about?

Migrating your local database to Azure SQL DB

In my session I will share with you, how can you perform an easy migration of your database to Azure SQL DB. Some lessons learned from the field and specially how to achieve the same performance.

I think it will be a very interesting session and I hope to share some experiences that I had with you.

Soooo… see you in Ljubljana – Slovenia!
